Kentucky Driving Records Search Tips


If you are trying to obtain Kentucky driving records, the place to go is the website for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Division of Driver Licensing.  It sounds like a pretty big title, however, the website, www.transportation.ky.gov, is much easier to find than it sounds.

The site is innovative and high tech, but doesn’t make you feel like you are not up to the challenge of using the internet.  The main page has a variety of choices that have to do with transportation in the state of Kentucky, and you can click on the section across the top called “Motorists” and you will be taken to a page that gives you a list of everything you might want. 

When you click on Driver Licensing, you will be taken to a page that seems to answer most conceivable questions you might have.  There is information at the bottom of this long page regarding where and how to order driving records.

In Person –  If you click on either “Circuit Court Clerk’s Office” or “Driver License Regional Field Offices” both will provide an exhaustive list of office throughout the state where you can get all the information you need.
By Email –  Click on the Email link and it will actually open an email page for you where you can write and email and send it directly to the Division of Driver Licensing.
By Phone –  All phone numbers, fax numbers and TTY’s for each office are listed on the same sections you would click on in the “In Person”  sections above.  The list is extremely complete. 
The state of Kentucky definitely went to great lengths to make this website great.
